Lily brought this wonderful example of a typewriter. Her great grandfather used it for his work.
You all came up with some interesting differences and similarities between it and my laptop. It was also a great item to use as the observational drawing model.
Today Riley brought this Dial Typewriter that his great grandmother had been given when she was five.
A google search told us that it was a designed as a toy.
What will the machines we use to "type" our ideas be like in the future?
I remember my mum playing this orchestral piece to me on a record once. What's a record? Well that's another whole story...
