Wow - Monsters Out at Tram Road!

That's a long way to go!

I think Evie told me she had seen seven signs for our fair in the weekend - those spy eyes keep on keeping on!

Lovin' Your Spy Eyes Evie!

Have you been keeping a look out too?

That's Not a Good Idea!

Today we enjoyed a production of Mo Willems' book That is NOT a Good Idea!

The presenters used great expressions and gestures to enhance the story. Hmm - does that remind you of anything else we've talked about recently - possibly your poems for the poetry competition?

Ironing Through TIme

Evie lugged this heavy, old black iron to school today. It certainly got us talking about how life has changed in the last hundred years.

Your How Does It Work?writing demonstrated you were able to think about different features of the irons and help your readers learn about them too.

I don't do much ironing, but I'm mighty pleased the iron I use is the plug in variety! The miracle of the www has meant that I have found a website with lots of information about irons and their history, you might like to explore this.

Happy Birthday Evie!

We hope you're treated like a princess on your special day!

What Does BMX Stand For?

We realised that even though we know what a BMX bike looks like, we didn't actually know what the letters BMX stood for.
Now we know but we want you to tell us what you think it stands for?
Is it Broken My X-ray bike?

Assembly Catch Up

Oh my! It is hard to keep the blog up to date with all the learning and business we get up to.
There have been three assemblies since our last assembly post. There was one in the hall hosted by Room 14. We showed our sunflower drawings at that. Another was held in Room 17 and hosted by a collection of remarkable presenters. Finally we went to another assembly in the hall yesterday that Room 19 hosted.
Congratulations to these children who received certificates at these assemblies.

We were awarded the Heather Trophy again. Some spies discovered that our cloakroom was very tidy!

Now we are spying on the other classes for next time.

Here's a photo of Freddie and Aroha in thier mufti.
