Tanner's Still Spying!

Nice work Tanner!

Has anyone seen a sign for our Monster Fair yet? Tanner found this advertisement in the St Albans News.

Thanks to Sammie for bringing this community newspaper.

I took a couple of photos on my bike ride to school this morning.

Tanner found more information about the Lochness Monster Garage Sale on their school's facebook page.

Well Done Tanner and Brooke

Tanner and Brooke both sorted out the puzzle of OCTober being the tenth month, not the eighth month as you'd think. In fact it used to be the eighth month, NOVember was the ninth and DECember was the tenth and SEPTember was the seventh. January and February were added to the calendar by the ancient Romans so everything got budged on a couple of spaces..
Speaking of calendars- did you get yours out of your bags this afternoon and give them to your family?

Happy Birthday Tanner!

We hope you're having a very happy birthday today!

School Leaders

It was exciting to meet the leaders today at the special assembly under the shade sails.

We had three very proud little sisters in Room 17.
Congratulations to all the new leaders - especially Piper, Will and Thomas.

We will put our spelling words into the home learning books tomorrow.
