That's Not a Good Idea!

Today we enjoyed a production of Mo Willems' book That is NOT a Good Idea!

The presenters used great expressions and gestures to enhance the story. Hmm - does that remind you of anything else we've talked about recently - possibly your poems for the poetry competition?

Quentin Blake

Elizabeth brought her Quentin Blake book collection to school today. We loved the two we read together. I've added a link to the Author Website page above so you can explore his website. I'm particularly looking forward to sending someone an e-card!

The New Pigeon Book Has Landed!

Look what I just found on the front door step!

It's funny - can't wait to share it with you on Monday!

I think Tommy and Sam might be coming to my place for a visit some time this weekend.

Treasure Me Hearties!

This was in the form of new reading books from the National Library. Don't forget to tell your family about a great new library book you read today.
It was fun to read the Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed by our mate Mo.

There is a fun game to play about dressing Wilbur on Mo's website.

There is also a link to some interesting naked mole rat facts from our Extra Reading Links page.

Marvellous Mo!

Unfortunately I'm sick today. Fortunately that means I have time to check out my favourite websites to see what's happening. Of course I went to Mo Willems' website, and there I found this inspiring video about his writing. I think you'll enjoy it.
